Cat Lovers Against the Bomb
This pin badge from the 1980s was created by a grassroots peace movement group CLAB, who combine anti- nuclear activism and feline appreciation.
Helen Jenner of West Yorkshire, UK, coined the phrase 'Cat Lovers Against the Bomb' and requested a design from her friend, Alasdair Beal, for the first CLAB button.
The movement was carried over to the USA when one of their friends took the button to Nebraska inspiring a CLAB calendar project to benefit Nebraskans for Peace (NFP)
